  sorry if this has been discussed before but on quora someone asked if rutherford had said that dinosaurs had been taken to venus .

  i assume that the questioner had heard it somewhere and wanted to check it out.

  i've never come across this before is it true ?

  The thing to remember about the Borganization is that they are not simply uneducated and thus ignorant, but they are fanatically anti-science and would argue that educated rational men were under Satanic influence.

  Granted, in the 19th and early 20th century not much was known about the true nature of dinosaurs and the importance of plate tectonics in the evolution of life on earth, but the guys in Brooklyn wouldn't hesitate to go beyond the book they claimed to revere, seeking refuge in pyramids, junk medicine, superstition, anti-matter and spacefaring dinosaurs.

  Jehovah's Witnesses of today have a proud heritage only if they obfuscate their past.

  (I dedicate this comment especially to the JWs of the Middle Village and Sunnyside congregations of Queens NYC with whom I associated 50 years ago until I found incontrovertible proof that the WTB&TS is not a righteous organization, but a huddle of COWARDS. Listen, obey and die knowing nothing like the beasts of the field. Jehovah, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and your resurrection hope are the goofball ramblings of your anointed leaders.   I've worked with a number of LDS members, and they are much more "real" than JWs. Good people!

  Years and years and years ago I visited the sacred site in New York state where Joe Smith received the unseen tablets from the angel Moron-i.

  The LDS theology is total bunk!

  so imagine a governining body member faithful slave who's uncle wrote the new world translalation bible and predicted 1975 would be armagedon writes a book in 1980 that changed my whole life...thank you raymond franz for setting me and my wife free love this man forever.

  Listen - Ray Franz didn't rescue ANYBODY. All he did was give you some information that YOU processed in YOUR rational mind. Then YOU took action and YOU bore the slings and arrows of JW.org.

  Thank your intelligent rational mind. Without it, you'd still be a Dub.

  I left the WTB&TS when I realized it was not a "righteous" organization. This was in the mid-1970s, years before Ray Franz left.

  oscar wilde was an irish poet who moved to london in the late 1800's where he became famous.. his brother toby who was a songwriter, decided to emulate his brother and traveled to england to seek fame & fortune also.

  he chose lincolnshire as the base for his songwriting, and settled in the town of bourne.. it was here where he wrote his most well known song, "bourne toby wilde.

  watchtower 1954 p.511 "why do watchtower publications now show jesus with short hair and no beard?

  because he is shown that way in older representations of him that are older then the traditional effeminate looking pictures.".

  watchtower 1968 p.286 "bible evidence and a recent review shows that jesus did have a beard..." charles russell style of beard was popular at bethel...till rutherford took over.

  hey everyone, i'm writing a new book.. it's the entirely fictional story about a character called "roy devons", an obese clown who was kicked out of clown college because he couldn't stop touching himself.

  he launches his own youtube channel where he tells the world how wrong and unfunny clowns really are.

  the world already knows this, and never really had much todo with clowns anyway, although some other ex-clowns felt like they needed to be reminded regularly of their past lives.. he hits upon the idea of asking for donations to support efforts to convince ex-clowns to get their prostates checked.

  Where do we go from here, the Lloyd-gate?

  the problem is where do we go from here?

  lloyd is not going to go away , he has too much to loose(money) neither will his followers go as we have seen the last few days there was hardly a drop to his membership .so what's next?

  we will be branded in the same colours and because of him we won't be taken seriously anymore.

  HA HA! The old "where shall we go?" conundrum!

  The wheels of justice grind slowly, but they grind very fine.

  Lloyd's earlier work will be evaluated and re-evaluated by the XJW community as knowledge of Lloyd's character flaws spreads. Probably his future work is pre-tainted like old chicken parts from that supermarket you can't trust.

  In time, our Lloyd-and-Savior will probably find employment as a window-washer at the Baiyoke Tower in Bangkok, Thailand.
